Best Korean food in Brussels!! All food (spicy pork + bibimbap) we had at maru was an incredibly authentic Korean dining experience, with dishes that are both rich in flavor and in portion. Their wine selection is equally impressive, curated with great care, and the presence of a fantastic sommelier 🩷 truly elevates the experience. Anyone who wants to experience a high quality of Korean food and paired-up wine MUST visit!!

I went to Maru yesterday and had a very good experience overall. The waitresses were extremely welcoming and explained the dishes clearly. We started with mandu, which were very fresh and tender — definitely a highlight. We then ordered bibimbap with raw meat and marinated bulgogi, both of which were excellent. My only small critique would be the level of spiciness: it would be great if it were a bit stronger, as even the kimchi was quite mild.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening at Maru. We followed the recommendations of the day, enjoyed a great bottle of wine, and every dish was excellent. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and professional (the girls are just very professional, kind, and polite), and the owner made us feel genuinely welcome. A fantastic experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to others.
