Had a fun Holiday dinner with friends last minute and they were able to squeeze us in with no wait. Fun atmosphere with great music! So much lights and fun vibes, and filled with people mingling and having a good time. Walking distance to the Guelf Holiday market - a great place to stop by and get warm from the cold! We had the sliders and calamari for starters, and burgers and fish & chips as mains. They had a good vegan burger too! Their Holiday drinks were delicious!

We came to NV Kitchen + Bar primarily for drinks, as we were excited by their impressive bourbon selection. However, after trying the food, it didn't meet the standard the restaurant seems to present. The mini burgers were severely overcooked, with patties that were almost charred. The cheese had hardened, and the onions were mushy. The Caesar salad and beet salad were acceptable, but neither stood out. For us, hospitality is about more than just drinks and atmosphere. Came to Guelph for an evening out with friends. This restaurant is situation in the centre of huddle and bustle. The atmosphere is awesome. The way they have lights and art up create a great vibe. Our service (whom we coined as 'Dynamite Dennis') was very upbeat and not overly attentive. He seemed to pop up at the right time. I loved the fact that when he accidently dropped one of our drinks he was able to come keep his composure and even laugh at himself (his teammates quickly jumped in to support him and also was able to continue to lighten the mood.
