Our most favorite Chinese restaurant in the city! This is not your typical Western Chinese food. Seems authentic to me as it reminds me of our trip in Hongkong! HK has the best foods in the world! This is the only place in Winnipeg where I can order crispy shrimps with heads (yes I eat the heads and pretty good!). We usually order the pork hocks (my husband’s favorite), crab and fish maw soup, crispy chicken and crispy squid on sizzling plate and the crispy Cantonese chowmein. Unlike the other Chinese restos in the city, Sun Fortune's focus on Hong Kong style dishes makes them a special place to eat. Try out dishes that are not your usual Chinese American dishes and you'll see why this is of the best places to eat in the city. Their soft shell crab on Salted Egg fried rice is a must try with the deep fried eggplant with mince pork sauce. This place is oozing with dishes worth trying. Go here and explore new dishes!

Most delicious HK style dinner. We had preorder weeks prior as we had custom dishes made to vegetarian. Portions were large and food was tasty. Lemon iced tea is a must drink.
