I usually go to Cold Front Gelato Nanaimo.The gelato is the best I have ever had. It rivals with the best Italian gelatos, The atmosphere is wonder and the people who work there is really wonderful. We took a chocolate trifecta and pistachio icecream. Both icecream flavours were very creamy, rich and natural in flavour and not too sweet. For the kids scoop we got 2 big scoops of icecream and it felt big enough. I am not big on icecreams since i find icecreams too sweet, but I highly recommend this place since it has well balanced flavours and felt value for money.

My second visit here and it will not be my last! Gelato is fabulous and all made on. Site with local ingredients. On a warm summer night the line up is bout the door but if you come during the day there is a steady trickle of delighted customers. Staff are super friendly and samples are readily available. A few tables and chairs outside and a few inside. There seem to be about 20 or more flavours daily and they do apparently mix it up. I previously had salted caramel, and raspberry rhubarb.
