Nancy C★★★★We had a great dinner at The View Oceanside Grill. Service was excellent and the food is very good. We were seated with a view of the water and it was beautiful to enjoy our dinner while watching the sunset. The cocktails were ok however their wine selection was excellent. The food was quite rich (to be expected at a seafood restaurant) so I would suggest splitting meals like the pastas if you can. The flambé seemed to be a very popular dish (every table around us, including ours, ordered it lol). Overall, I would recommend this as a nice dinner spot while visiting Nanaimo.

They were super accommodating to us even though we were running late, they did not rush us and helped us celebrate a birthday as a family. My husband ate the lamb, he said that it was cooked to perfection, taste was on point and quite filling. I forget what dish I had but I know it had some kind of tuna with shrimp and Moroccan salad under it. Very tasty! Server was wonderful, polite and welcoming. The environment inside was very quiet , can have a nice conversation without having to shout and temperature inside was perfect since I can tell the AC was on but couldn’t feel any cold air come
