Nice classic Newmarket restaurant with a pub feel. Food is good but not exceptional, however it is priced very fairly. Service was great. Fish and chips are good. Ribs are quite good. Wings were mediocre, avoid.

Ordered Halibut Fish and chips meal to go. Had a pint on Guinness at the bar while waiting. Great friendly staff. After returning home with the fish and chips meal I felt as if the French fry portion could have increased for the price tag of $23 plus taxes and tip. The fish was excellent.

Great atmosphere, and we visited on a Friday evening when the place had a nice energy. The service was friendly, but noticeably slow at times. Parking was also difficult, with very limited availability. I was fortunate to find a street spot when someone happened to leave. We ordered the wings meal, haddock and chips, and the coconut shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was the highlight of the meal, served hot and crispy and paired well with the sweet and sour sauce. Such a hidden gem! Staff is super welcoming, and the food is like a warm hug. Would recommend the Reuben Sandwich, Onion Soup, Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Sunday Prime Rib.
