My family and I dine here often, usually after my nephew’s hockey game in the Coquitlam area, And usually for brunch or lunch. I have to say that the service here is excellent, and the food itself is consistent, tasty, and quality is what you would expect from a family style restaurant. I feel that the value for what you get is very good, and prices are fair. When I do a review I like to have beefs and bouquets but tbh it's hard to come up with negatives for Coquitlam Diner. Maybe it's so popular it's hard to get alot of attention from your sever but they always manage to serve well Classic country menu all day breakfast with comfort food favourites. This place is highly recommended.

I ordered the ribs and the lasagna combo, and unfortunately, the food really didn't live up to expectations. The ribs were way too dry, and there was barely any meat on them; it was mostly just bones. It really felt like they were trying to cover up the lack of quality and taste by smothering everything in way too much sauce. As for the lasagna, I wouldn't say it was absolutely terrible, but I just didn't like it. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and I wouldn't recommend these dishes.
