It's been YEARS and not much has changed, BUT it's light and clean. Friendly server and good food. There's a LOT of tables, great for large gatherings or party nights, I noticed what looks like a set up for karaoke.

What a fantastic lunch , great service and portions at the MGM Restaurant .The turkey corn chowder was so good . Surprised this place wasn't busier . You want good portions , homemade soups and stocks this is the place . Nice to see old fashioned milkshakes as well . Definitely worth the drive from the north end or stop by if coming through Nanaimo you won't be disappointed . Good home cooking.
