I passed this cafe by chance and I am really glad I stopped by to check it out. It’s an old house converted to a cafe like a lot of small cafe and store in Halifax. It’s an old house and it surely gave a very homey comfy feel inside. It’s a big place for a cafe, they have several options for sitting area. They have communal table, high table and chairs, sofa for lounging and regular 2-4 seater tables. I ordered Fudge Brownie to go because I am in a hurry but will definitely come back here for a sit down meal and just to relax.

I was recommended this place by a friend. I'm a masc-presenting (and passing 100% the time) trans person, and I can't help but keep thinking that one of the staffs was rude because I pass as cis male. I'm all in for making a safe space for queer folks to be in, but it should not be a space that feels unsafe for people who aren't. That's exactly the same discrimination we've been facing all this time, just opposite direction. It doesn't contribute in making safer and more inclusive society, and from reading the reviews, some of the staffs here need to know that.
