David Parry★★★★The fish and chips were a standout...crispy, flavorful, and delicious. The steelhead was cooked perfectly, and the green beans had just the right texture. The blackened chicken was decent but didn't quite steal the show. Thankfully, the scalloped potatoes more than made up for it; they were rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The only miss for me was the tartar sauce, which wasn't very good. Overall, a great meal with more hits than misses.

It offers a unique experience where you can watch floatplanes take off and land while enjoying your meal. The atmosphere is fantastic. While some dishes lean toward an Asian fusion style and the fish and chips were a bit soggy, the drinks and the scenic view make up for it. I will try different menu next time. but it's definately a great place for a relaxed vibe near the airport.

During our chat, he recommended the Flying Beaver, mentioning it’s a good restaurant where you can see planes landing and taking off. Intrigued, after visiting Grouse Mountain, we went there for dinner. However, we didn’t see any planes landing or taking off, despite it being near the airport—perhaps just bad timing or we were misled by the pilot, who might be involved in PR or marketing there, haha.
