I use to go to the Taco Del Mar in Langley all the time, so I was excited to see we have one in Abbotsford; until I tried it. The server was nice and engaging but I was surprised at the small scoop you get compared to BarBurrito. The rice was weird, some kernels were soft and others ridiculously hard, suggesting they mixed new batch of rice in with the old to save money. Very, very disappointing, will have to stick to BarBurrito, you get a much better meal for your money.

Stopped for gas and was Hungry. Saw a taco del Mar. Never been to one. Saw "rippin fish tacos" on poster. Thought I'd try. Went into an empty restaurant. I asked if the fish was fresh and deep fried. She said yes. I said OK and proceeded to order. She then took out 2 frozen pre battered fish and put into oven. I asked why it's going into oven if you said it was deep fried. She said it is? Lol, ok. She doesn't know what deep fried means. She rolled her eyes at me. I wanted to leave but was Hungary. The toppings were fresh but the fish wasn't crispy and tasted light frozen highliner fish from
