0/10 service you basically have to BEG for a waiters attention, we sat 20 minutes before the waiter finally came to us and then another 40 to get the food. I asked for a utensil (silly me) and that was never brought either. Almost everyone went to the cashier themselves to pay because they would have to sit another 30’. Food was great but only go there if you have God’s patience or able to call out on their terrible service.

An amazing coffee shop, very cool interiors and style. Clearly this was designed which is such a welcoming thing for a cafe. It is great for a casual meeting - inside or outside in the sun. There is plenty of parking outside as well. While i most came here for coffee, the salads are also very tasty.

It was established in 2016 with the goal of promoting Ethiopian coffee in a modern “third wave” coffee shop context. It’s more than just a café: they roast their own coffee, they hold trainings, tastings, and present coffee as a craft. Name & Identity The name “Galani” comes from the Gelan River which runs down the Bale Mountains and through many coffee-growing regions in South Ethiopia. This was chosen to evoke origin, journey and coffee heritage. The branding reflects local transport of beans (for example donkeys carrying coffee) and connects to the idea of origin, traceability and authentic Ethiopian coffee culture.
