It was a lovely meal in a fun atmosphere. Lively. Very friendly service. English speaking staff. And the food was excellent. My sister had a kidney, (rognons), and pasta dish. Have not cared for this at other restaurants, but here it was really good. I had a duck leg which was a special, and it was also very nice. Prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend.

Slow service, small portions, overpriced. The staff is undertrained and inexperienced. There were flies everywhere. They bring dishes of the same table at vastly different times without any explanations. They brought the wrong order. The pizza was not cooked. Do not recommend. We were really disappointed because based on the rating we had high hopes. This is how the pizza looked AFTER we asked them to cook it more. I also took a photo of SOME of the flies that were all over the place.

Amazing plate de jour menu for our lunch yesterday. Excellent food, super chilled Rosé, easy well timed service. I chic decor or enjoy the outside dining. Absolutely your best choice for a meal when visiting Chateau Angers.
