This is one of the best meals I’ve had among my multiple visits to Europe. The seafood pasta and soup are beyond fresh and tasty. The anchovy salad is also so good. The restaurant is run by a family. We got to chat with them and learned the restaurant has been in business for 40+ years! They are very hospitable and humble. The food is so good that I would come back to Nice just to come eat here again!

My wife and I had dinner at La Saetone last night and it was excellent. We shared the salade niçoise to start, which was fresh and flavorful, then I had the fish of the day while my wife ordered the bouillabaisse — both were outstanding. The seafood was incredibly fresh and everything felt authentic. What really made the evening special was the owner, who was genuinely warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful hospitality. Easily one of our favorite meals in Nice. Highly recommend.

The food was very good. The location was near our hotel and a 8-10 minute walk to the main Nice train station. The staff - Michael & a female ( I was not able to obtain her name) - very helpful in having decide which dish to get. They were very attentive. Overall, we had a great experience enjoying our French dishes.

If I could give a higher rating, I would it’s honestly off the scale. The portions were generous, and there were plenty of options to choose from. We had the seafood bowl, steak, and duck breast, and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was great, with a relaxed vibe and lots of lovely older guests. The service was amazing too. I also highly recommend trying the desserts, especially the tiramisu and the panna cotta (that’s the only one I tried, but it was amazing). Overall, this is the best seafood place you can eat at in Nice. I definitely recommend making a reservation. I would honestly c
