I felt it was impossible for customers to request any adjustments (vegetarian option, change of menu item, etc.), as this seemed to be considered a problem or an additional cost. Paradoxically, when the restaurant doesn't have the side dish listed on the menu (in my case, the dauphinoise potatoes), they readily replace it with potatoes.
