Norman Siegenthaler★★★★We wanted to have lunch at the Le train Bleu in the Gare de Lyon before our train left, but the prices were too high to rush a 1 hour lunch there, so we went across the street to the Station Cafe. We had 2 different things that were on the menu. One was a Veal Ragu, the other a Veal Milanese. It was solid, good food and of exceptional value. Even with 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of white wine it only cost 55 EUR Norm Siegenthaler
David Tinton★★★★★After losing the rugby and wandering back to our hotel we stopped for a nightcap. The place itself is nothing special but the atmosphere and locals, this is a bar used by local rail staff, are the most friendly and forthcoming. Ok we were the only English in there and France had won but it wasn't all about the rugby. The owner treated us to a drink and so did a couple of locals. For just one drink before bed we spent over two hours such was the company.
