Mediocre coffee. Sexy songs, sleepy eyes and chansons—all things the French are known for. But somehow, they can’t seem to figure out how to make a decent cup of coffee. The staff is kind and fast, the muffins and sandwiches pre-made and soggy. Perhaps these sexy-sleepy-soggy hallmarks of French culture require a dearth of cafeïne, requiring a drowsiness that is the opposite of being caffeinated? Enfin, Columbus makes mediocre coffee at best doing its part upholding French culture. Even the local teddy bear looks underwhelmed and undercafeinated.

I had a great experience at Columbus Cafe! The pastries, muffins, and bagels were all delicious, and the coffee was amazing. I haven't been to many coffee shops so I can't tell of it's pricy or not compared to other's. My only issue with this place is the lack of air conditioning, it gets really hot inside. But the ambiance and the shop's visual are perfect. Ideal if, like me, you want a nice place to study.
