If you are a tourist, non french speaking and would like to be treated very poorly this is the place for you. We came in minutes after they opened for dinner service and was seated immediately. Once the "waitress" realized we were non french speaking her attitude changed immediately. After taking our order she rudely grabbed my menu and almost swiped my eye with it but I was able to shift my head. We got our starter of escargot and she rudely asked "did you have a reservation?" we said no and she abruptly left the table. Seated in the front room I enjoyed the best cassoulet ever. Crispy duck, flavorful sausage and white beans as they should be in consistency and taste. A large portion so it was my only order, but will definitely return to try other menu items. The house dry white, a fair price, went well with cassoulet. The back room looked more charming. Quite a few people turned-up on an early Monday evening.

The tourist office recommended this restaurant. The food was good as expected. I’m not giving a 5 for a few reasons. One I had to ask for bread when every other table had bread. Second the cassoulet was not steaming hot all through, it was warm. It was good but not outstanding. Sadly on a Monday I did not have that many choices for cassoulet.

Delicious food, got gascon salad, poached egg with mushrooms and the n cassoulet. ordered cassoulet for 3 and got a quantity of beans that would feed a family of 4 for a week, along with delicious sausage and duck. Thank you to the waiters for letting me practice my atrocious French! Merci
