Absolutely delicious meal. The starter of cottage cheese tomatoes and olive oil ice cream was sublime. The main course was very well cooked trout with the most flavourful vegetables I have had for a long time. The dessert of Rhubarb in filo pastry and apricot and meringue finished off a wonderful meal. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

Our meal at Chez Nòu was one of the best meals we ate during our 2 week trip to France. We chose to place ourselves in the hands of the chef and have the blind-tasting menu for 2 (90 euros). It was an excellent decision. Every dish was a feast for both our eyes and our taste buds. The beef tartare and the trout were outstanding and my husband is still salivating over the cheeses. Mathilde was absolutely sweet. She told us all about the Ariège, a region we had previously never heard of, and recommended a red wine that we very much enjoyed. Food is always an important part of a meal and Chez Nou did not disappoint. In fact it was a highlight of our trip in Toulouse and we are very happy we decided to dine there. However the experience and the service we had made the meal so much better. Our server was so pleasant to speak with both in English and French and was very helpful deciding our choices and very attentive to us. I would happily return on our next visit to Toulouse!

What an absolute gem !! We stumbled across this restaurant and had some of the best service & food we've ever had. We opted for the tasting menu & i'm so glad we did as we tried food we'd never have thought to order & it was exceptional. The recommended local wine was beautiful and very reasonably priced & the final aperitif made from white chestnuts, again recommended, was stunning. You are in for a treat....exceptional food & hosting x
