Really nice bar in the city center of Aachen! People running the place are very kind and welcoming. The place has a very cozy atmosphere and the drinks are inexpensive. The apple pie is also quite nice. Definitely worth a visit!

The stay in itself was nice, it was sometimes a bit cold in the back because of the open door to the outside area but it was fine. I was there on sunday night and i was really disappointed by the english speaking black haired waitress. After paying, even leaving a tip, she picked up three cups trying to balance it on on hand. She accidentally tilted the cup so hot chocolate was spilled all over my favorite hoodie. Since mistakes can happen, I wasnt really mad at that. But her attitude afterwards was just not acceptable. Amazing atmosphere and people. However, the service is excrutiatingly slow and bad. This is not the fault of the servers who I have infinite respect for. The whole place has a lot of tables, packed almost every evening but has only 1 or 2 servers in total who understandibly get overwhelmed. Beer is 5€, cocktails with little to no alcohol are 10€, spritz are 7€ which are above average for such a student friendly and packed place. It is obvious that the manager only chose a leftist aesthetic to attract Aachen youth but failed to apply it in principle.

Well.. it’s a bit messy, alternative but very cute. Especially outside when the sun is out! I think that maybe adding natural wines would be something to consider :-) and maybe the toilets need a fix too!
