Lovely cafe. I was looking for breakfast and found this lovely little cafe. Decent coffee which is hard to find in many German cities. I chose an omelette with ham and tomato and a sesame bagel.

I liked the food (the balance quality/price seems a bit off though, and there are not a lot of options, but that's not a disadvantage in itself). The lady was very nice. The atmosphere very cute.

This used to be one of my favorite coffee shops in Bielefeld, but unfortunately, today’s experience has completely changed my impression. When I entered, no one was at the cash register, so I waited. Eventually, a young woman came out from the kitchen and immediately told me, rather abruptly: “Please stand over there, this is where the cash register is.” When I hesitated for a moment, she repeated the instruction louder and with an unnecessarily arrogant tone. I need to avoid lactose in my food, and was under the impression that there were vegan options here. Arrived at 13.20, ordered at approximately 13.30, then had to wait almost twenty minutes to be told that they didn't have any fruit salad. I was offered only two options of cake, which I had to wait for a further 15 minutes... I knew service would be slow (it's a small place), but this was bad. I often work away from home, & I try to support local, independent restaurants/cafés. Sadly, this was a very poor option for brunch.
