Localino in Mülheim, Cologne is a fantastic Italian restaurant with truly excellent pizza made from authentic Italian ingredients. The quality of the food really stands out, and every bite feels genuine and carefully prepared. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, as it’s a small place that’s almost always full. Because of that, it’s definitely a good idea to make a reservation in advance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Italian flavors in Cologne.

The pizza was delicious, though it looked but didn’t quite feel like a true Neapolitan-style pizza. But oh my goodness—the Scampi Pfanne was absolutely amazing! I loved it. The place has a cozy corner vibe, perfect for a date night. Lovely atmosphere, and the staff were kind and welcoming. Even though they were very busy, they managed to accommodate us without a reservation. Great service overall.

Food was amazing. We all had pizza and there were no complaints, just enjoyment. The service was nice and attentive the whole time. The location is a rather small and cozy restaurant which for me on that day was a bit too crowded, but overall I really enjoyed the experience!

I am sorry to leave this review because the place used to be a gem! I was served a pizza with anchovies but the anchovies were raw. The taste wasn’t very nice. Upon asking I was told that that is how the pizza is supposed to be served. But I do not remember this mentioned on the menu. Nor is it anything standard in Italian cuisine as far as research goes. 🤔
