I was recently traveling in Berlin. May aunt and uncle took me out for lunch at one of their favorite restaurants. This was without a doubt a highlight of my trip. The menu offers Bavarian dishes. I ordered the pork knuckle dinner and my uncle order a Wiener schnitzel. Both meals were absolutely outstanding! A tremendous selection of high quality beers made for a perfect meal and a very special desert that is not readily available in most German restaurants. This is a fantastic Bavarian Restaurant. It has been here since 1938. The Food was outstanding. We did not have a Reservation but where able to get a table. It is advisable to make a Reservation.

Perfect german restaurant. The food was very good. I had schweinshaxe and liver dumpling soup. The soup was clean and didn't have the typical weird smell of organ-based food. Also, the schweinshaxe was crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. The servers were very friendly, and they were dressed up in traditional clothes. The atmosphere was wonderful. Full of cute barbarian items, and happy customers. It made me feel like dining in authentic Germany Probably my favorite restaurant in Berlin. Definitely worth a visit.
