A friend of ours who lives in Berlin recommended this place. We specifically wanted to go to a restaurant that offers classic German dishes. We went there for dinner. Date: 23/04/26 The indoor seating is on the lower ground floor and has really adorable decor. I tried the Eisbein (Berlin pickled pork knuckle) and the Rote Grütze. The pork skin was soft and tender, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The pickles were a bit too sharp for my taste, but it was still a great combination. It’s better to share the Eisbein between two people as it’s a huge portion. They do offer a takeaway container for a €0.50 fee.

When we arrived, a gray-haired lady with pigtails greeted us, she was extremely rude. Fortunately, a very kind lady appeared and found a table for us, even though the place was almost full. The beer and food were very delicious. The musician created a very good atmosphere. They should pay attention to not letting such an incompetent person get involved in the staff. The price is very correct, if we take into consideration the location of the restaurant.
