A great German pub on the main road. The area seems a little short of pubs and that’s fine as this one is great for everyone. The staff speak English which is great, they have all sorts of beer including 0% they have a kids menu and also drawing and colouring for the kids. Also great for pirate parties evidently :)

On our first night in Cologne we went here for dinner. I really wanted to try some traditional Kölsch food and to drink Kölsch. It delivered. Not knowing any Deutsch, the staff were very helpful. I had the mett-happen and the himmel un ääd. Both very tasty and washed down with some Kölsch. I would definitely go back again.

This is my favorite pub to visit when I'm in Cologne (Köln). Located in the Nippes neighborhood, it's a great place to sit down, have some delicious food, and of course, enjoy the Früh Kölsch beer. If ever you're in, make sure to say hello to Mario from Tünneman. (That's what my German buddies call me) Prost, yaimas, santé, compai, cheers!
