Came here with my German family for casual dinner and well enjoyed it. Service was excellent- had several great beers and the food was delicious as well. The restaurant is thought to be an old witch’s house and is quaintly decorated and outside beer garden was very nice as well.

Great looking restaurant used to be a genuine favorite for at least 2 years but the food now is unbearably salty and was impossible to eat, also very clearly not made in house (if that is something you care about). Service was beyond exceptional however I did see our waiter go to the bathroom and he in fact did not wash his hands (EEEYUCKKK😐). It was in general really awkward because absolutely no body was there and so the vibe was somewhat uncomfortable. Would recommend for drinks but certainly not for food anymore and I would highly recommend sitting in the biergarten. I would also say the

Perfect chilling spot. Very friendly and polite. service Cosy place with character and away from crowds despite just around the corner of city centre. Cold beer on draft and amazing pretzels. What else you need for quick stop rest.

Me and my girlfriend were on the lookout for some authentic German food and we stumbled across this beautiful beer garden at the base of the castle. The food was so good at a really affordable price compared to other restaurants in similar locations. Service was prompt and one of the male staff was especially fun bringing a great vibe to the whole place. Of course joined by great German beer I would say this is a must visit when in town.
