I recently tried sushi here, and while it was okay, the taste was a bit different from the authentic Japanese flavor I’m used to. Personally, I prefer the sushi back in Thailand—they do an excellent job with the flavors and freshness there. Still, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for sushi in the area.

The food was delicious, but the service was the worst one i had in germany so far. The lady with white hair was very rude to us. We ordered three sushi rolls, it came in 40 minutes, and most of the tables that ordered after us received their food before. The people that ordered for takeaway also got their food before. It is no problem to wait, but as soon as i asked the lady for where the food is, she started to rudely talk instead of saying it is coming or it will be there in x minutes. The sushi chef is a Japanese and he really knows his work. The sushi is very delicious and the atmosphere reminds me of my year of studies in Japan. Often, the German sushi is made by non-Japanese sushi chefs. You can taste that and also feel it in the atmosphere of the restaurant. However, at Kyoto, you really get a taste of Japan. I can highly recommend it!
