I am a big fan of this restaurant! The food is really good. Unfortunatelly today j had a very bad experience. We walked 3 kms with a friend to eat there. We got there one hour before the offical closing time. A women told as”nicht trinken” afterthat we told hete we came to eatsomething but she did not understand or i think she did not want to understand. Than she tolt around 10 times “nicht trinken” and then we escaped…. I am pretty sure she had a bad day, but it was a very bad experience. We tried to tell her that we would drink a good helles and than walk back, but she did not understand or…

By far my favorite restaurant in Regensburg for traditional German food. Close to the river. Nice little beer garden seating in warm months and cozy inside seating in cold months. The food is amazing. I've never ordered anything that wasn't delicious. Prices are reasonable. They do not accept cards.

food here is very authentic and quite good but not spectacularly so. except for the apple tarts with vanilla ice and cream 🤤 nice atmosphere and definitely not touristy, as it is quite a walk to get there from the old town. come here for the real bavaria, as in the good old times. many bavarians do, too! cheers 🍻
