Very nice place to eat, the location is beautiful and quiet. You can seat next to the fountain and enjoy the subtle murmur of water. The servings were big and pork chops were very tasty. The toilet was ok. The staff was friendly. I am not quite sure why this place is rated only 4.2. Maybe the prices could have been cheaper, but on the other hand the restaurant is located in the Altstadt, so that can dictate the prices.

Large schnitzel offering serving more than generous portions. Went for the Elsässer Art and the new Butterfly. Both tasty and well received. If anything I prefer my topping on the side to avoid the breading to lose it’s crunchiness, but here it seems to be part of they way the present their dishes and I reapect that. Beer offering as expected.

We had a delightful time here for lunch. I had the pasta schnitzel and my wife had the summer schnitzel. Our waiter knew enough English to serve us well and carry on a brief conversation about American basketball. The food was good and it was more than we could eat at the lunch sitting. We ate outdoors and apparently downwind from some smokers, but the wind made it less of a problem than normal. All in all, it was a great lunch.

The food was great. A big volum of Schnitzel. A reasonal price, good atmosphere. Inside is very spacy and clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. Good Schnitzel!
