Had lunch here on an excursion from Holland America Nieuw Statendam cruise. Delicious pork romulade. The only complaint was that the waitress refused a request for a glass of water with the meal. Our excursion came with a free drink which was great but to refuse a glass of tap water seemed very petty.

It's a beautiful historic place with a medieval charm. The surrounding streets are quiet, even though you're basically in the town centre of Schelfstadt. You can sit outside in the surrounded yard or inside. It has quite the atmosphere, and the food tastes delicious. A word of advice, though: the appetisers and salads are huge! We had one each for dinner and could believe our eyes when our order came to the table 🤣.

History is only a few steps away in this unbelievably beautiful old city.
