came across this place accidentally and got pleasantly surprised! amazing location in the heart of Stralsund, incredibly nice staff, and cute homey atmosphere: the tables have coffee beans in them. just by the glimpse on the visitors, we could tell that this place is well-respected and loved among all generations! we got a chance to try the fantastic pear cake along with our coffees. delicious food and beverages; must-visit with a nice company, highly recommended for a coffee break

I stopped by Café am Markt while exploring Stralsund and was really pleasantly surprised. The place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere — cozy inside, with a nice view of the square if you sit by the window. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, not just polite, but actually made me feel welcome. I ordered a hot chocolate, and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, not too sweet. You can tell they put some care into how they make it.
