The ambiance is really great, and most of the staff are friendly and attentive. My review is written from the perspective of a vegan and therefore certainly won't apply to everyone, but I cannot recommend this restaurant if you are vegan. There are no vegan dishes on the regular menu. Since some of our family celebrations have taken place there, I always called ahead and let vegans know in advance. We occasionally received a risotto, which unfortunately wasn't very tasty because it was very firm. I accepted this for a long time, thinking that Waiblingen simply wasn't ready for vegan cuisin

The restaurant's location is quite good; there's a small flea market going on today, but it's still idyllic. The service is very friendly. The food is also good; personally, I would have liked some bread with the asparagus cream soup, but otherwise, I was completely satisfied.
