If you’re looking for a place that is more of an experience through south India then madras kitchen is the place. In one meal I experienced dishes from coastal Karnataka, Malnad region , dishes from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Don’t miss their fish fry , ghee roast , Tamil Nadu salan with parota and konganadu chicken biryani

⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars) From the moment we stepped into Madras Kitchen, we were captivated by the ambiance and thoughtful design. The menu itself is a work of art—incredibly beautiful and aesthetic—and the crockery and cutlery choices are absolutely on point. This place has real promise and excellent bones. The food showcases great presentation and flavors. We particularly enjoyed the prawns with string hoppers and the non-veg thali, which beautifully celebrated South Indian produce. However, the papaya salad fell short on balance—it needed more acid in the dressing to properly marry the salt, sweet, and sour elements, which would have elevated the dish significantly. The main challenge here, unfortunately, lies in the service. There's a noticeable disconnection in the chain of communication from when orders are taken to when food is delivered. Orders can be forgotten or accidentally replaced, creating a disjointed experience. For instance, when we ordered a gin, it automatically arrived as

First time dining at this particular restaurant of Marriott's and it was a total pleasant experience. Visited for their Pongal thali meal and every dish served was clean, light and absolutely delicious managed to finish the entire thali without wasting the food. The dishes were well balanced, well prepared and so rich in flavors, can't wait to visit again to try out more from their menu!

Madras kitchen is one of the finest southern indian cuisine serving restaurant. One of my go to places. Very Polite and knowledgeable staff. A big shout out to Anshika. Thank you for taking the utmost care of our table.

Today I had lunch at Madras Kitchen in UB City, and while the food was good, my experience with the management left a very sour impression. After our meal, we stepped out and needed to use a washroom urgently because the mall washrooms were full. My friend requested to use the restaurant’s washroom, but the staff bluntly denied us entry, saying it was only for restaurant guests. It was only after we showed our lunch bill that they allowed us in. What was more disappointing was my interaction with Jeetendra (without name batch) but introduced himself as the General Manager of Marriott UB City. Instead of acknowledging the inconsistency, he explained to his staff that the rule was meant only for “workers” and not for others. This raised more questions than it answered. It left me wondering—if we hadn’t kept our lunch bill, would we have been denied despite having just dined there? Policies are understandable, but they should be applied consistently and respectfully. Selectively decidi
