Visited GRUBOUS today in Ahmedabad, and honestly, the food was mesmerising enough to make me write a review immediately. The restaurant itself is spacious and beautifully designed with aesthetic furniture and a Latin Indo-American themed interior. One wall especially caught my attention — it showcased Indian motorcycles and their origins, along with portraits reflecting Latin Indo-American culture. The ambience felt premium yet comfortable. Food Review: Tawa Section: 1. Bheja Absolutely outstanding. The combination of ghee and kali mirch was just perfect. The best part is that they can even serve you a proper whole bheja on request, exactly as shown in the picture. Taste-wise, it was phenomenal ♥️ 2. Gurda Kaleji Perfect flavours, perfectly balanced spices, and cooked really well. 3. Paya It was so greasy and yummy in the best possible way. If you are looking for Non-Veg grub, Grubous is your place. Went thrice in a month and I will vouch for their consistency. Out of 3 times, I ordered their Lehsuni Chicken Tikka and Nalli Nihari with Roomali twice. That should speak about my liking for their 2 dishes. My ordering style is fairly simple. If I am ordering a Chicken starter, I will order a Mutton main course and vice versa. On our first visit we ordered Lehsuni Chicken Tikka with Roomali (which was not on their menu but was that day's special) and Nalli Nihari for the main course. And boy, oh boy. We were in a food coma from the word go! A friend of mine and I were famished and we out did ourselves by ordering Muttonn Tawa Pulao. If this review was written barely on that visit, this would have gotten a 5 star rating. The food and the service was flawless. Absolutely ridiculous experience at Grubous. Walked into a completely empty restaurant, politely asked for a table where I could watch the cricket match, and was straight-up denied. The reason? “Other customers might come.” Seriously? The place was EMPTY. Instead, they tried to shove me into some random corner seat that was uncomfortable and made no sense when literally the whole place was available. Zero flexibility, zero customer understanding. This clearly shows how poorly the staff is trained — rigid, unhelpful, and frankly quite rude. No effort to accommodate, no basic hospitality. And after this experience, it’s not even surprising reading other reviews — seems like this is a pattern. Overhyped place with subpar service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Plenty of better restaurants out there that actually respect their customers.

The service of the staff was also upto the mark. Two points which might be considered for improvement are - to rationalize the price a bit and second to reduce the time taken to serve the order.
