Restaurant/Food Review: Amadeo by Oberoi, Mumbai, India Rating: 2/5 Wine Review: Henri Bourgeois - Sancerre Les Baronnes 2022 A beautiful wine which is quite fruity and citrus which goes well with fish dishes. Food Review: I started with scallops dish as starter. It also had corn along with it. It was tasty but a big failure. It had too much stone like feel on mouth mostly because of burnt charcoal/carbon in corn. This was not expected from such a restaurant. Followed by a Japanese style tempura fried prawns and rice rolled like a sushi. The basic problem with the dish was it was deep fried and also was giving too much of tamarind flavour. It was not great I would say having tried some real Japanese sushi in some other restaurants. Next, I tried spaghetti with crab which was quite average as well. What I understood is the Chef is concentrating on more fried dishes which gives great taste, but very bad for health. Indians would certainly love fried dishes, but any European/America

I had the italian preset menu for brunch. Incredible value. Would highly recommend it. Quality food and flavors. Perfectly portion controlled to comply with healthy lifestyle, individual portions perfect for one person. Set menus aren’t recommended for sharing. If you decide to do the set menu, all the guests on the table must do a set menu. They have a Japanese, a Chinese, an Indian and an Italian option. Loved the Italian. Cocktails however the one I got was a bit disappointing. I got the one that was kinda dirty martini with truffle oil, olive brine however the flavors were very very very subtle so it’s really come through. Desserts were amazing too
