We come to Café Ella about once a month. The food is always good, there is quite a variety to choose from and the service is very friendly. This time my lady chose a broccoli soup and a mixed salad with labane. I got a tomato soup and then seared fresh tuna on chimichurri. All was very tasty, the tuna exceptional. Bread is always there, very fresh with a crunchy crust. I highly recommend.

They have some great dishes. I enjoyed the salmon sandwich. The side salad came with a dressing that wasn't to the taste of any of the five members of my party. The place can get busy and the tables are a little small. Getting everyones food safely on the table required some Tetris and rearrangement. Parts of a dish that could have fit on one tray came with multiple. The staff were considerate and most of the food was great.

Love the place, but many people do so it is very crowded (on a Sunday at 11 am). The atmosphere suffers because of that. It is very loud which doesn’t allow for a quiet conversation. There is an additional room but because of the cold temperatures I didn’t feel like sitting there. Reservation is definitely suggested.
