It takes a lot for a restaurant to build a name for itself in Jerusalem, especially if it has only been open for a little more than 20 years while other easterlies can boast hundreds of years of history. This place was will recommended and got the spot. It's outside the old city but people recommended it and it's a reliable place to get good eats at local prices.

Food was delicious, portions were big. I've never eaten better hummus than this in alayed. Truly saying grilled meat was outstanding for first time, second time was very good. It seems that you can make it always outstanding. Another plus is that owner and staff are friendly for customers. Serving is also fast. I was in Jerusalem only for two days with friends and we came back twice there - that's rare for me. I don't know why rate of food is only 4.1 star. I wish u luck!

Nice, authentic Arab place with umbelievable food. The service is a little slow but worth the wait which isn't terrible after all. With your grilled kebabs or other entries comes a variety of small bites so go easy so you ll still have an appetite when your order arrives.
