“Great food with good atmosphere. Staff is nice and willing to take photos for tourists :) Outdoor seats is decent, however, it was raining when I’ve got there. I think they deserve a better rating .”
“Although this place is not kosher, it holds a special place for a Jerusalem cuisine that has its roots in Spanish, Greek, and Arab blends. The 🍷 wine selection, ambiance, decor, and friendly service are more than enough to put this place on the must visit places in Jerusalem.”
“Great vibes from the decor, the service, to the food! The food was amazing, show casing a unique local spread, the service staff was extremely friendly and helpful to introduce the menu, and we came out plenty full with a resounding BURP!”

כרמל דרורי★★★★★A true Jerusalem institution, combining an old-school atmosphere with superb food. The main courses were beyond amazing, precise and rich, the wine and drinks were lovely, the firsts were fresh and delicious and the variety is amazing. Also great to see places like this open on Friday night. I will be back!!
nrleshem★★★★★A truly lovely place. The atmosphere is magical. These are exactly the kind of places Jerusalem needs, and there are far too few of them. The service was above and beyond. It genuinely felt like being hosted in someone’s home. The food was exactly what you want next to a drink, done with real professionalism, and honestly one of the best meals we’ve had. I say this as someone who lived in Jerusalem for four years. Well done. Truly impressive.

Elizabeth Gaynes★★★★★We had a magical dinner at Barood. Cocktails were on point - especially the delicious fresh made bourbon sour. We asked for recommendations and they did not disappoint! Also, the cozy cafe was great for conversation - not too loud! Our favorites: cauliflower with tahini, small meat pies (we saw them being rolled and freshly made)!, lamb shank and ox tail. Oh and the dessert was divine - a rice pudding and fresh Greek yogurt with Quince jam. Chef’s kiss! Definite recommend!
Arad Eduard Spitzer★★★★★I looked for shrimps on Jaffa street and found this magnificent place. Hidden in the inner garden, a small and cosy place. Would recommend to anyone visiting Jerusalem and looking for an authentic place. NOTE that on the first Tuesday of every month they play live music there! Good food, great service, lovely atmosphere.
A L★★★8.26.17 - located in the courtyard of a building off of Yafo Street. It's a cute spot with fresh food. We ordered the kras because it had just come out of the oven. The service is not bad, but slightly slow. It's a little pricey, but it's open on Shabbat. They accept credit card and it seems popular with tourists and locals.
