A great place to relax while waiting for a train or the airport shuttle. Plenty of food and drink options, good coffee, and lots to look around. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s a much nicer way to spend time than sitting in the station waiting. Would definitely visit again when travelling through Milan. ☕🚆✈️

Love the energy in this place! The food options are solid and there is something for everyone. The Italian pastries are a definite go-to, perfect for a quick bite between trains. Huge indoor food market with plenty of choice. Il Mercato Centrale brings together lots of individual vendors under one roof - often meat-focused options, but also some pasta, pizza, sweets and a few vegetarian dishes. Most stalls have fairly concise menus rather than huge selections, but there’s enough variety to suit different tastes. Food was decent overall and it’s a lively atmosphere. Toilets are located at the back entrance and accessed via a QR code printed on your receipt. Good casual option if everyone in your group wants something different.

An upscale food court laid out in a single row along the side of the train station. The decor is modern, artsy, casual, and inviting. There's a nice mix of food choices, a range of prices, whether it's drinks, desserts, snacks, barbecue, asian, Italian, middle eastern, and more, it's all here. A comfortable seating area runs the length of the mercato all glassed and looking out onto the adjacent sidewalk and tree lined street.
