One of the best meals we had in Puglia was at Signuria Restaurant in Lecce. We sat on the beautiful outdoor terrace and had such a great experience from start to finish. Today, we went to this place in Lecce for lunch. The restaurant is located on a pretty quiet street, far away from the busy old town crowds. Thus, if you want to escape the crowds, it is the perfect place to go. It was really hard to find a parking place but so glad we persevered. The homemade bread with variety of flavours. We ordered the veal carpaccio (the best carpaccio we tasted), beef cheeks, black Angus Argentinian entrecôte(medium rare, cooked to perfection) and lemon meringue. Probably need a bit more of the citrus taste it would have been perfect! The pastry was so delicate and greatly made.
