Absolutely top marks... It's been several years since I've been to Iole, but the rating is always excellent. Last night, I went to dinner at Iole with my son and we rediscovered an atmosphere of simplicity, quality, and excellent service. It feels like being at home, with the good things our mother and grandmother once cooked. Definitely worth repeating, recommended to anyone who wants to eat well and spend a fair amount! Traditional Lombard cuisine restaurant. The place is spartan, like the service, but the focus is on good food. The ossobuco was a shame, as the meat was a bit too tough. The risotto alla Milanese was good, as was the donkey stew.

An old village trattoria/inn, the likes of which are almost unheard of these days. The atmosphere is dated and spartan, but it takes you back in time and in your mind. Quick and friendly service. They seated us right away, even though the table wasn't ready yet and we hadn't booked (but I don't think they take lunch reservations). The lunch menu only had three starters, three main courses, and three basic side dishes available, plus a few extras; however, both the goulash and the pasta pasticciata were delicious, and the portions were just right. During the week, for €10 per person for lunch,
