I visited Pane e Caffè about a week ago and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The place has a welcoming and informal atmosphere, ideal for an aperitivo with friends or a quick break during the day. As soon as you enter, you'll find a well-stocked display case with a wide variety of sweet and savory options: mini pizzas, bread, rustici, arancini, brioche, croissants, and other daily specials. The aperitivo is generous in size, in line with the usual standards found elsewhere, and is accompanied by several samples of the products on display, which I appreciated because it allows you to try

Pane e caffè combines the sale of baked goods with that of a café. In addition to bread, sandwiches, and taralli, there's a wide selection of products, including tomato pizza, potato pizza, mini pizza, stuffed focaccia, panzerotti, chips, arancini, and croquettes. The same goes for chocolate, jam, and cream croissants, coconut parcels, cookies, and plum cakes. Everything is truly delicious. I recommend it for breakfast, a great way to start the day, and for a quick yet delicious lunch.

Terrible experience: we ordered two teas, specifically asking for appetizers to accompany our aperitif. They brought us a tiny bowl of chips and four tiny pieces of pizza. At the cashier, they charged us €10. It was an exorbitant price considering the small amount of food. Under the previous management, a larger appetizer would have been served for the same price. It's a shame about the food, which is good, but we won't be returning.
