We stopped at Madegra while waiting near the Salerno bus station and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant offers a huge variety of options, from pizza and seafood salad to many other local dishes. We only had the chance to try a few items, but everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The seafood salad was especially enjoyable, and the pizza was very good as well. Prices are slightly above average, but considering the location and the limited alternatives nearby, they felt reasonable. 30-May-26 Safe if you're desperate, skip it if you're not. We sat down for drinks and to enjoy the fútbol game right off the bus from Naples. We had a great first round of spritzes and they even gave us a tasty appetizer on the house. We were so encouraged by the service, despite other horrific reviews, that we ordered a second round "same drinks as before, with the watermelon and cherry toppers" and some pizza from the counter. A total rip-off. Avoid this place if possible. We got a pineapple sorbet ice cream for 10 euros which has 5 spoons worth of material and even that is mostly just ice and frozen mild flavoured juice. Straight up non-sense. See photo for reference. The toilets are unusable and no toilet paper, no paper towels, no functioning air dryer.

A great place to stop for coffee and something sweet. From the large variety of delicacies we ended up having Italian ice cream and did not regret it!
