I have lived in Italy 3 months of the year for several years. This was the best dining experience I've had. Good food, good atmosphere, kind owner and waitstaff. Reasonable prices. My only complaint.....mind you this is a 6 star review, is the melezana meatballs needed a few more slivers of dried tomatoes. I wanted one in each bite and was 1 short at the end. I will definitely come back to Trieste....just to have lunch here again. Thank you. Seriously wonderful

Very, very good food, friendly service, a nice atmosphere, and good value for the money. The restaurant was near our hotel, so we decided on the spur of the moment to stop by for lunch. The menu was extensive; we chose the Stratagliata Irlandese and the Fuzi and were thrilled: the meat melted in our mouths and the pasta was perfect. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was quick enough and friendly. If you like traditional dishes, this restaurant is a great choice.
