One of the unique things about this place is the wide variety of meats available, ranging from poultry and traditional meats to exotic options such as crocodile. The meat is grilled over charcoal at the entrance of the restaurant, allowing guests to see the preparation process and enjoy the aroma of the grill. The dining concept is all-you-can-eat style, where different cuts and varieties of meat are continuously served directly to your table. The experience begins by raising a small flag on your table, which signals the staff to start serving. Guests are first offered fresh bread with butter, followed by soup, salads, and then an endless rotation of grilled meats. Once you have had enough, simply lower the flag and the service stops. Had heard a LOT about this place, was a great experience overall! The restaurant does have à la carte, but they recommend you have their famous buffet for the "full experience". All the meats served are grilled in their big coal pit. When I visited, they had ox balls (testicles), crocodile and ostrich meatballs as the exotic meats on the menu that day. And then they had the usual meats as well ie chicken, pork, beef, lamb. They have this swerve wheel sort of a sauce plate which also has salads served on it. They tell you what sauce goes with what meat and the pairings are actually really nice. The buffet finishes with a dessert, there was four to pick from. Any drinks, alcoholic or not are charged extra. My Uber guy joked you need to not eat two meals before going to Carnivore if you want to fully maximise your visit 😂 and that's true to an extent, I sampled tiny portions of all the meats and I was already too full! A generous selection of local meats, including but not limited to leg of lamb, lamb chops, ostrich, crocodile, and bull balls! Served with soup, salad & sauces, & dessert. You'll be sure to want to go back to this place with its beautiful gardens and 3 other themed dining rooms and a disco. Very reasonably priced at about $35/person for the Beast of a Feast.
