Everything was great except for service. Painfully slow to get your check after being done. Even when you make eye contact with them to come over they ignore you. Waited for 25 min for someone anyone to bring me my check so I can leave . They acknowledged my eye contact but still never came to the table with the check for way too long. Only 4 tables occupied in the restaurant at the time with 2 waiters working. .

I thoroughly enjoy coming to eat at this restaurant. The service is always great! Jane is usually the hostess when I am there. Kevin is one of the managers who is usually on duty. Both of them are amazing, and so are the others that I've been blessed to interact with. I would highly suggest eating here on a weeknight.

Great place. Great ambience. Fantastic hospitality. Memorable views. Good music. The food is top notch delicious though cocktails slightly below par (not well balanced). Parking is ample and spacious, though the guards can be a little unfriendly.

Our expectation of the food was quite unmet. An incident happened to one of our board of directors in the premise and tbe response time from the hotel team was horrible. The way the incident was handled was not what we expected from the hotel team. We had to be so vocal to get a response. It was annoying and disappointing at the same time. They could have done better.

I entered this beautiful rooftop establishment, where I was seated by the pool and then immediately forgotten. There were literally approximately 14 guests scattered throughout the dining area, with maybe 5 servers, yet still I had to pick up my phone and dial the Sankara Hotel lobby, long-distance, to complain about the neglect I was facing. I was then transferred to the Chef, or someone who answered and declared to be the chef who offered to come greet me himself or send someone “immediately”, where another 5 minutes elapsed. Now I think it’s ridiculous that I had to make a long-distance phone call in order to get a waiter to greet and take my order. As a Bonvoy member, it’s so disappointing to know Marriott standards do not extend to Nairobi. Another pet peeve was that I specifically asked the hostess if Shisha (hookah) was available on the roof and she said yes. A few TripAdvisor reviews indicated that rooftop offered that service.
