One of the worst experience ever! The waiter don’t know anything about the menu! We asked him some questions about plates and the special one they hv! Maybe he is new! I call the manager there, telling him can’t employ someone without experience, at least training! He helped us. But 🤷🏻‍♀️ worst choices! We ate little cz we were hungry only!! , not recommended at all!

La Plaka is one of the first restaurants in Tripoli of to be among the international cuisine category. There are indoor and outdoor seating and it is upscale, and the design and decorations are very nice. The outdoor area is also very nice during good weather conditions. The menu is rich, and almost everything on the menu is tasty. The staff are usually nice, welcoming snd attentive. One big negative issue I would like to address and the reason why I gave La Plaka a 3 star rating is "Smoking in the no smoking area". When the restaurant first opened, the right section of the indoor area used to be designated as no-smoking area and that's why we used to prefer this restaurant. But when I visited it this year, I found they are allowing customers to smoke in it and it was really annoying.

I liked the place. It's clean and comfortable. They have a big variety of dishes and serve yummy food. The only one thing that I didn't like is being too close to the road if your sitting outdoor. The noise coming from the passing cars is annoying sometimes. I would definitely recommend.
