The beef tripe pot was very flavorful, unlike being plainly spicy (Sichuanese restaurants in Europe tend to be like this), the flavors were layered with complex. The Xiaolongbao was a bit thick in the dough, but the filling was very juicy and the pork odor was removed properly. Because of the Michelin star and its prestigious price, I had high expectations for this restaurant. We ordered many dishes, but none were particularly satisfying. The raw marinated shrimp tasted stale, despite the restaurant repeatedly emphasizing its freshness. The lamb shumai was nothing like shumai; it was more like lamb soup dumplings. Almost every dish exceeded my expectations. The spicy chicken was enhanced with peanuts and mushrooms, adding layers of flavor rather than just pure spicy. The fried lamb chops were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The marinated mixed seafood was very fresh, with a well-balanced and tasty sauce. The food is delicious, and the service is warm, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, the dessert was disappointing. The “Chinese milk” dessert listed on the menu for €12 does not match its presentation at all — neither in appearance nor in portion size. What arrived was a very small serving (about 3 tablespoons), far from what is shown on the menu, yet still charged at the full price....
