Quaint cafe in the Amstelveen old town! I really love the interior, all the wood, furniture and stained glass makes it look very vintage. The windows are also huge, so plenty of sunlight shining on in. Paired together with the friendly service it creates a great atmosphere where I really feel at home. It sadly did fall a bit flat when I got my food. Don't get me wrong, the menu looks good and prices are more than fair, but my grilled cheese with mozzarella tasted very bland, it really could do for some more (Italian) seasoning. A corner cafe with beautiful interior design and plenty of windows to peer out from. On summer days there are even some outside seating. We had an Espresso Macchiato and a pear juice for 6 euros. The espresso had thick foam that could carry a spoon and had a well balanced flavour.

This is one of our go-to places on a regular basis. The coffee is good ranging from espresso, flat white and cappuccino. The breakfast is baked in house which includes a nice croissant and scrambled eggs. The staff are nice. If you are in morning rush or just want to get a takeaway coffee, it might take a bit longer that you might expect.

Great menu and variety of bread to choose from, they have gluten free bread, vegetarian options and good drinks. The location is easy to find and there’s a free parking few meters away. This place is always busy with seniors so if you are taking your kids and they make any noise you will get some stares!
