This is an excellent place for coffee when in Delft near the market square. The place was celebrating it's 30th anniversary and all coffees and teas were half price which was a nice surprise. But regardless of that they serve excellent coffees so no reason to skip it without the discount. It can be busy with lots of students and young professionals. Definitely a place to go back to.

I visited this café about 20 minutes before closing and ordered two coffees and a sandwich. The employee told me he couldn’t warm up the sandwich because the toaster had already been cleaned. Fair enough — closing time procedures happen. What surprised me though was that no alternative or solution was offered. Even something simple like suggesting another item or asking if I still wanted the sandwich cold would have made the experience feel more welcoming. The staff member wasn’t rude, but he seemed quite disengaged and barely made eye contact while speaking. To me, this feels more like a mana
